edagefdcdcak Elvis September 5, 2013 at 2:08 am Tried #1 and it worked like a charm. The solution is to set the integrity level (to low) for the relocated Favorites folder. It took me a while to recall the Dos commands to "navigate" to my favorites folder but when I finally did, this fix worked like a charm. Turning off Protected Mode fixed the issue, but that’s not a good solution.

NO, I got the same old error again. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737 If i was the conspiracy theory type, I would say MS did it on purpose when trying to link to Google. ;-) . I would create a new one and see if I then experience the same problem as a new user. Saving to favorites is resolved.
