Hi;I have restarted IIS asn App pool for central admin but i still get this error. I was born on a Christmas dawn, 25th Dec and brought up in North India. it will take 10-15 minutes when yuo restart the service I would launch uls viewer when starting the service to see if there is something else causing this. This is an expected behaviour if the User Profile Synchronization Service is started on the SharePoint server hosting Central Administration. Given that ice is less dense than water, why doesn't it sit completely atop water (rather than slightly submerged)? Additional steps that you can verify: Directory Synchronization account o Must have the Replicate Directory Changes permission in AD On the domain AND On the Configuration node o Member of Pre-Windows Make sure that two FIM services are started automatically.
