The only fix he could find was (essentially) to break binary compatibility - and that's after some correspondence with the VB6 compiler team, who he knew fairly well.

It was just easier to get a good XP machine at good price. I've noticed that you are using this "record the steps manually" as your answer to a great many posts. Or maybe there is something wrong with the RAM. What's the use of this forum?
