These disks have backups on them which are renewed every night via rsync. You should mount the partitions on it. When you tested with qla2xxx/lpfc did you see scsi error messages and dm-multipath path failures, or did the scsi layer and driver internally retry in those cases. You could turn on iscsi or scsi debugging to see if multipath has sent the IO to another path but that is going to get really noisy. Do you really want to continue (y/n)?
